We will post the time they will arrive as well. |
Trivia night: This is a Friday evening event. It is $5 per person to enter, and you can play in a team of 4 (be aware the prize will have to be split between all players of the team there are not separate prizes for each team member). We will be playing 4 rounds of 20 questions with prizes awarded for each round.
We are also offering presales for wings, flatbread pizzas and chips with cheese dip and salsa. There will be limited amounts available for day of sales so be sure to order ahead so we can purchase and prepare the correct amount. We will have drinks and other snacks available for purchase. Bingo night: Price is $5 per person which will give you cards for 5 games. We provide the cards and daubers to mark your cards. We will have 1 winner for each game. Snacks will be available for purchase. |

Wellswood derives its name from the Wells family who originally purchased the 640 acres on which the community sits. Founded as the first suburb of the City of Tampa after the World War II, Wellswood remains a middle-class neighborhood that strives to provide a family friendly atmosphere.
The Wellswood community center was deeded by James F. and Edna Wells-Wishart in 1949 and the first house was built in 1950. Wellswood was originally known as Wells Park but was renamed due to the abundance of pine and oak trees in the area.
The Wellswood Civic Center, as it is known today, is the heart of neighborhood activities and kept for posterity by the Wellswood Civic Association. The members of the Wellswood Civic Association continue to ensure our lovely home has a voice in the issues that affect us all.
The Wellswood Civic Center is available for private rentals. Please see the Rent the Civic Center page to learn more.
